Tour Managers

Are you a teacher who would like an opportunity to earn some extra cash in the school holidays? Or maybe you have a flexible job that would allow you to take time off throughout the year?

If you are passionate about our wonderful country and would like the opportunity to teach students from all over the world about New Zealand, then you could be perfect as an NZET tour manager.

You must be over 23 years old, physically fit, and fun-loving yet professional. You also need to be responsible, mature and firm enough to be able to keep 44 students in line! We will need you to be a chaperone on one tour and/or complete a short training programme and first aid course before you are ready to go.

Chaperones

How would you fancy spending 10 days away, touring the North or South Island of New Zealand during the school holidays?

NZET would love to hear from anyone interested in volunteering to be a chaperone on our international student adventure tours.

It’s great fun but hard work. You need to be physically fit, as you will need to be able to participate in some activities with the students. You will also need to be free from any criminal convictions and over 23 years of age, as you (together with another chaperone) will be assisting a tour manager with the care of 15 – 18 year old students.

NZET will fly you to and from the tour starting point, and provide your breakfast and dinner for the 10 days of the tour. NZET will also pay for you to take part in the included activities, as well as getting you discounted rates for some optional activities.
