Day 1 Wellington

Meet your Tour Manager and Tour Assistants at Wellington Airport. and travel to the city centre where we visit New  Zealand's National Museum - Te Papa. Later we take the iconic Wellington Cable car to the top of Kelburn Hill for great views over the city. 

Tonight we enjoy a home-cooked meal and then get to know everyone.

Day 2 Wellington - Kaikoura

This morning we take the Interislander Ferry cruising between the North and South Islands.


Have your camera handy as the journey through the Marlborough Sounds is spectacular. We arrive in Picton, the gateway to the South Island, and from here we make our way to the coastal township of Kaikoura.

Day 3 Kaikoura - Christchurch 

Kaikoura is well known for its abundance of marine life and this morning you have an opportunity to experience the unforgettable sight of whales or go swimming with dolphins.


If you don’t feel like getting wet, there is also an optional boat trip to view these amazing creatures instead.

This afternoon we make our way to Christchurch where our first stop is the Antarctic Centre where we experience life on the Southern Continent

Day 4 Christchurch - Tekapo 

Christchurch is our largest city in the South Island and following the 2010-11 earthquakes, this city has re-emerged as a vibrant, ever changing city.


This morning starts off with a city tour to see the devastation that hit Christchurch and what enormous efforts are going ahead to rebuild this amazing city.  

This afternoon we travel through the Mackenzie country to beautiful Lake Tekapo and our accommodation on the side of the Lake.  We visit the Church of the Good Shepherd  before enjoying a soak at the Tekapo Hot Springs overlooking the Lake.

Day 5 Tekapo - Milford Sound Overnight 

A treat today as we drive over the Lindus pass, along the shores of Lake Wakitipu and into the mystical wilderness of Fiordland National Park. Our accommodation tonight is the Milford Mariner  and after settling in we head out into the Sound. 


We have plenty of time to view the spectacular waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife and also go exploring in kayaks or simply go swimming in this amazing place (if you’re brave enough!).

As night falls, we enjoy a delicious buffet dinner then relax while doing some star gazing.

Day 6 Milford -  Queenstown

Today we're off to Queenstown - the 'Adventure Capital' of New Zealand and home to the latest and greatest adventure activities from bungy jumping, skydiving and jet boating to whitewater rafting and canyon swinging.


Our first stop is the famous AJ Hackett base, the birthplace of bungy and one of the most famous attractions in Queenstown.

We watch the secrets of bungy and then for those of you who have time for an optional 43m bungy off Kawarau Bridge! It's then time to capture our awesome crew with a group photo before we make our way to visit the historic Arrowtown...after this it's a short drive into the heart of Queenstown and our accommodation.

Dinner tonight is your choice.

Day 7 Queenstown 

Today is free to enjoy some of the many optional activities on offer. There are many options such as Canyon Swing, helicopter flights, horse riding, skydiving and parasailing. You may want to explore the shops or relax by the lake across the road from our accommodation. 

Later we take the Gondola to the top of Bobs peak and have 3 luge rides through the forest tracks.

Day 8   Home

This morning we are dropped off at the Queenstown Airport where we finish our tour and say goodbye to our amazing bunch of new friends....
