Can NZET book my flights?

We are happy to book your flights, just select ‘Yes’ on the booking form under ‘Flights’ and we will ensure we select the best possible Air New Zealand flights available for you at the time of booking. If there are no seats available through Air New Zealand, NZET will book the best possible seats through an alternative Airline.  A $20 booking fee is charged for this service and this amount is charged to your credit card along with tthe cost of the flights.

Please note: Once we receive your request to book flights we will do so provided we have valid credit card details to recharge the flight cost. Flights are non-refundable once booked. If you have ticked the "Yes" box, you should not book your own flights without contacting us first.

If you wish to book your own flights, please ensure you have read your confirmation email which advises what time to arrive at the airport on Day 1 of your tour and what time you will dropped off at the end of your tour.

How much money do I need?

Personal Expenses
Expenses such as lunches, telephone calls, internet charges, laundry charges, etc, are not included in the price of the tour. All our accommodation providers have phone and internet facilities. Most also have laundry facilities and the general charge is $2.00 for a wash cycle and $2.00 for 20-30 minutes in the dryer.

Spending Money
You will need to pay for dinner on your three free evenings plus seven lunches. You can pay by EFTPOS at most places but make sure you have some cash with you just in case. Depending on your appetite, we recommend budgeting $10-15 per meal. It is very easy to get money from ATMs throughout New Zealand. If travelling on a South Island or North Island 11 day tour, we recommend you will require an additional $150-$200.

Optional Activities
During the tour you will have free time to participate in some of the exciting activities that New Zealand has to offer. These activities are not included in the price of the tour and are entirely optional. If you wish to do any of the optional activities, you will need to allow extra money for this. You can pay for Optional Activities by Credit card, EFTPOS or cash.  A full price list can be downloaded from your student login section or by contacting us.

What do I need to pack for the tour?

A full "What to Bring" list can be downloaded from your student login section or by contacting us.
