Fiji Tropical Adventure 2024

DAY 1 Auckland - Nadi, Fiji - Mana Island

Bula! Its time for our Fiji tropical adventure!

 

We meet bright and early at Auckland International Airport and depart with our tour group to Nadi, Fiji.

 

On arrival we are transported to the Nadi local market where we enjoy lunch and an opportunity to see where the locals buy and sell their produce, before heading to Denerau and boarding the local fast boats to the very remote Mana Island and our acommodation for the night.

 

We check in to our rustic Fiji style accommodation amongst the palm trees at the dive resort then have some free time for a swim before before meeting up for dinner and discussing the exciting days ahead!

DAY 2 Mana Island

 

Following breakfast were off to the a sandbar by boat to snorkel the local reef under the supervision of local guides.

 

We then head back to our accommodation and enjoy lunch together before having the afternoon to continue exploring the the island.

 

We will have access to snorkelling equipment in the lagoon, kayaks and paddle boards.

 

We enjoy our dinner together tonight along with some group games.

DAY 3 Mana Island - Plantation Island

Day 3 kicks off with a yummy breakfast then a visit to the local school where we can meet some smiley faced local kids and see how they learn. If time allows we can play some games with them.

 

Late morning we board the fast boats to Plantation Island (Malolo) and our new resort accommodation.

 

We settle in and then make the most of the resort's activities - volleyball, paddleboarding, snorkelling etc before meeting up to enjoy our evening meal and Plantation Island's Bula Time entertainment.

DAY 4 Plantation Island

 

After breakfast this morning we have a catch up about the optional activities available such as Discover Scuba, Parasailing, Water skiing, Banana boat rides, Golf etc. We will also go through the schedule of free activities on offer through the resort activities co-ordinators.

 

Daily resort activities will include snorkelling, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding as well as a range of land based games and activities. Beach vollyball, water polo, table tennis, group crafts and activities etc...

 

Following this we head back to our resort for lunch and then an afternoon of activities or relaxing by the pool - your choice!

 

Tonight we enjoy dinner together and then it's time for the evenings entertainment.

DAY 5 Plantation Island

 

Following breakfast we have another day of adventures in the sun and prepare to go on our Spinners Dolphin Cruise and Snorkelling Safari.

 

We cruise towards the surf island neighbours Namotu & Tavarua to find the Spinner Dolphin family. Then get up close and personal with some of Fiji's finest underwater wonders as you snorkel the Barrier Reef.

 

From water polo and volleyball to torch lighting and traditional dance there is something for everyone throughout our day on our return.

DAY 6 Plantation Island

 

Make the  most of another day in paradise, swimming in the warm ocean or resort pools.

 

It's your last day at Plantation Island Resort to enjoy any of the activities you may have missed out on or have another go at your favourites again!

 

Maybe try some sailing, somne kayaking, paddle boarding or a round of mini-golf? Maybe even just take it easy and relax by the beach or pools?

 

We meet up for lunch and then after a fun afternoon it's another night of entertainment following dinner together.

DAY 7 Plantation Island - Denerau - Nadi

 

This morning we have time for a last swim in the ocean or pools before we pack up and check out of the resort and board our ferry back to Denerau. Here you will have some free time to get lunch and do some last minute souvenir shopping.

 

Port Denerau offers a range of world class shopping and a whole range of places to grab yourself some lunch.

 

This afternoon we make our way to our accommodation, and prepare for our final night dinner, group games and entertainment.

Visa Requirements:

No visa is required to enter Fiji providing your country is on the list of exempted countries.

Visa exempt countries can be found here: https://www.immigration.gov.fj/travel-requirements/visa-exempted-countries.

You will however still need to ensure you have the following:

1. A passport that is valid for at least 6 months from date of entry into Fiji.
2. Return or Outbound tickets; (NZET Tour Manager will have these)
3. Confirmation of accommodation for duration of your visit (NZET Tour Manager will have this)
4. Re-entry/entry visa to a country other than their own (i.e. your return entry visa into New Zealand)
5. A copy of your outbound ticket from New Zealand (i.e. a copy of your ticket home from NZ
