Day 1 Auckland - Rotorua
Kia ora, meet your Tour Manager, Driver and fellow travellers at Auckland Airport. Travel south to Hobbiton and Middle-Earth where we enjoy a tour of the movie site of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit...
See the Hobbit Holes, The Mill and famous party tree and enjoy a cold drink at the Green Dragon. From here to Rotorua the city famous for bubbling mud, spouting water and wonderful Maori Culture.
Tonight we have our first home cooked meal a delicious duo of dinner and dessert.
Later we get to know our fellow travellers and learn about the days ahead.

Day 2 Rotorua
Te Puia, the premier Maori Cultural centre in New Zealand, a place of spouting waters, boiling mudpools, and steaming vents is our first stop today....
After Te Puia, you have free time to explore this cultural wonderland before we meet up for the evening's event.
Tonight we are in for a very special night as we enter the world of Tamaki. Here we discover Maori art forms, ancient rituals and traditions, experience thrilling song and dance and then eat a delicious and authentic Maori Hangi.

Day 3 Rotorua - Wellington
It's off to Wellington today via Taupo and Tongariro National Park. Our first stop is a visit to the thunderous Huka falls situated on the beautiful Waikato River....
After lunch in Taupo we pass the three volcanoes, Mounts Ruapehu, Tongariro and Ngauruhoe and travel south to the capital city of New Zealand Wellington. We visit Te Papa New Zealand's bold and innovative museum, where we can see the colossal squid, experience an earthquake and see examples of many of New Zealand's native birds and mammals.
Tonight dinner is your choice at one of the many cafés and restaurants within walking distance to our accommodation.

Day 4 Wellington - Kaikoura
This morning we take the Interislander Ferry cruising between the North and South Island.
After a very beautiful but long drive through the South Island we arrive at the seaside village of Kaikoura.
Dinner tonight is a kiwi BBQ at our accommodation.

Day 5 Kaikoura -Christchurch
Kaikoura is well known for its abundance of marine life and this morning you have an opportunity to experience the unforgettable sight of whales or go swimming with dolphins.
If you don’t feel like getting wet, there is also an optional boat trip to view these amazing creatures instead or go Whale Watching.
Later we make our way to Christchurch, taking a city tour where you have time to explore the city before we continue to our accommodation for tonight.

Day 6 Christchurch - Lake Tekapo
This morning we head into the Christchurch CBD where you have freetime to explore the city, check out the Earthquake Exhibition or maybe go Punting on the Avon River.
This afternoon we take another spectacular drive through the Mackenzie country, stopping first at the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo before making our way to our acccommodation for the night.
Relax in soothing hot mineral pools overlooking Lake Tekapo before dinner.

Day 7 Lake Tekapo - Queenstown
Today we make our way to the adventure capital of New Zealand!
Our first stop this morning is Lake Pukaki for a fantastic view over the lake to Aoraki/Mount Cook - New Zealand's highest mountain.
From here we travel to our next stop for a thrilling jet boat ride!
Once we recover we visit the famous Kawarau Bridge where we learn the history of Bungy and you have time for an optional bungy if you dare!Following this we arrive at our destination of Queenstown

Day 8 Queenstown
Today is our first day on the slopes!
You can ski or snowboard today on one of New Zealand's best ski fields ( Coronet Peak or Cardrona ). Enjoy the fantastic views over Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown.
Ski hire, lessons, helmets, clothes and ski passes are all included!
Tonight you have free time tonight to buy dinner of your choice.

Day 9 Queenstown
It's back to the slopes today for another epic day on the mountain. Ski hire, lessons and ski passes are all included.
Dinner is supplied tonight and we enjoy group games.

Day 10 Queenstown
Today we make the most of the adventure activities on offer! With special NZET prices, try a Canyon Swing, Nevis Bungy, River Rafting, Horse Riding, Gondola & Luge or any of the other thrilling activities....
Do you feel like dangling on a high wire cable 134 metres over the valley floor? Then try the Nevis.
If jumping or being released from 109 metres into a canyon with over 70 different jumpstyles, try the Canyon Swing.
(Remember, as long as we have your natural parent’s permission for the activities on offer, we will organise all of these activities for you while on tour).
Tonight is our final night of the tour and a very a special evening. We have some final night fun with a mix of games, presentations and dinner party. Bring your tissues because tonight is full of laughs but also tears as you realise we have to say good bye tomorrow.

Day 11 Queenstown to Home
This morning we make our way Queenstown airport where we are dropped off with an amazing bunch of new friends and 'ferntastic' memories....

We are happy to book your flights to Auckland and from Queenstown and we will always try and find you the best price. A $20 administration fee is charged for this service.
